On June 25, 2024, Bernardo Cesare the full professor of the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padua (Italy) and Omar Bartoli, assistant professor of the same department visited the Al. Janelidze Institute of Geology  They gave lectures to the general geological community that filled the auditorium of the institute on the topics: "Melt inclusions in migmatites and granulites" (professor Bernardo Cesare) and "Working with hot rocks: challenges and new opportunities" (professor Omar Bartoli).

The seminar was attended by the heads, professors and students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgian Technical University and Ilia State University Geology Department. The audience was involved in the work of the seminar; A discussion was held after the question-and-answer session.

The mentioned seminar was held within the framework of the project "Thermal control of melt and metamorphism in the Caucasus (within Georgia)" winner of the 2022 state scientific grants competition of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, No.FR-22-11295.
