In 2024 scientist of Alexandre Janelidze Institute of Geology – Dr. Kakha Koiava and co-authors was awarded Leo Davitashvili Prize for the book "Late Cenozoic bioevents in the territory of Georgia based on foraminifera and palynological data”.
